To solve the security issue for independent contractors, Tiger-Consulting suggests more U.S. companies hire staff through third-party employment services that provide freelancers with access to employee-like benefits. Hiring through a third-party employer also helps businesses to cut costs while attracting and protecting top freelance talent that contribute to their own benefits rather than the companies for which they work.
