Singapore S Pass Changes

December 22rd, 2022

There have been some recent changes for the eligibility criteria for S Pass Holders in Singapore. The Ministry of Manpower (MOM) in Singapore announced it will be raising qualifying salaries and levies for S Pass holders. The goal is to uplift the quality of S Pass holders to the top one-third of the local APT workforce to ensure a higher quality workforce with the skills necessary to be part of the local workforce instead of a cheaper alternative to local hires. This change applied recently on September 1, 2022. The change to the S Pass allows mid-level skilled staff to work in Singapore. Candidates need to earn at least $3,000 a month to qualify. Please see the table below for new and upcoming changes.
